For Sale Automatic checker of domain availability

Is there a software or service that can check the ability or domain name, e.g. not via whois (which is delayed), but really check if the domain can be registered. I've a enom reseller a/c, i checked the website, but can't find any clues.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thks.

I have read it 3 times, and I believe you cant know whether a name is registered or not without checking whois. Well, you can simply try to register the name, and there will be results saying its registered or available to register.

For expired domains, i believe that whois will not show availability so quickly? The only way is to try to register the domain itself.
