Nearly 1 year afted I started it, I am considering selling www.g35.ca and www.nissan350z.ca
These 2 domain names go to the same forum, which has over 550 members and 17,000 posts. The members come from all across Canada and the USA, even though the domains are .ca, many Americans also join the forum and participate.
You do not have to be Canadian to buy this site, I can set it up so any buyer from anywhere can own and operate these domains with no problems.
The new owner doesnt have to know anything about cars, because the forum runs itself, I will even stay on as a mod and post becuase I love the forum so much. The new buyer just needs to use the members and the traffic the site recieves to make money.
Stats are as follows, an average of 350 visits per day, 200 uniques. In terms of revenue, I make about $125 per month, however these are individual advertisers, one of which has prepaid for another 7 months. Other than that, you can do what you wish, affiliate programs could be huge due to the targeted member base and visitors.
Traffic on the site has been steady for the past 5 months, and is starting to grow slightly again.
As I said, I can still set up meets and things to keep members happy, the buyer just needs to be able to make money with the current members and traffic. I have never advertised this site at all, so all traffic and members are through links, search engines, type-ins and word of mouth.
My price is $2000 via Escrow.com (buyer pays fees). I hope the buyer uses the substantial member base and traffic to make some serious money on a terrific forum. The buyer gets both domains (g35.ca and nissan350z.ca) as well as the site files, forum files and 1 month of free hosting.
