I found an available .edu domain name with overture of 884

US overture: 884 w/ extention.
Alexa LP: 401
Alexa TR: 191,692
MSN LP: 9,705
Google: 691

I didnt know where else to put this. I thought someone could use it.
Taking offers for the INFO of the domain name via DNF$ or USD. Will consider any offers.

- If this is in the wrong section i apologize

To register a .edu name you must in some way have relation with an educational institute or the likes. How easy is it to do this? I have no idea, is it possible... Most definantly

You can contact me via Post, PM or email at [email protected]

You must be an educational institution.

You can't register a .edu and it is not as simple as you think. When is the last time you saw a .edu site operated by a non educational facility ie: some small guy like you and me? never

not everyone on the forum is an average Joe, I posted this information because im under the impression that if someone that can actually find use in a .edu domain name stumbles upon this thread, they can benifit from it. Ofcourse not everyone can register or make use of this name, I would have registered it if that was infact the case.

"The .EDU domain is reserved for 4-year, degree-granting colleges and
universities. Each college or university may register only one .EDU domain
name. Graduate programs, remote campuses, etc., cannot obtain a .EDU
domain name of their own.

If the organization that is registering the domain meets this criterion, they
must provide a brief explanation of the kinds of degrees awarded before
a .EDU can be considered.

Please see educause.edu to register .edu domain names."

No, getting a .gov or .mil would be harder but the point is, .edu names are out of reach for us.
Can't remember for sure, but it is possible that in the past there was a loophole or more relaxed rules.
