All these names are showing 0 on overture with the ext in the software programs i use my self to find overture names with ext.

I found this one now programma tv is 28442 on overture but this is for programma tv without ext. Programma "dot" tv in my Overture programs are showing 0.

So the names in your list don't have any overture score with ext.

My program also see them as ovt w/ext.. I warned about grouping problems, don't want to cheat anyone.

Yes i tried italian ovt and it is showing what you say but with my programs they are showing 0. But if they are having this high overture score with ext they should have high traffic.

I'm sure that some will probably be genuine, while others not. Hard to say which one is and which one isn't though!

calcio.tv, guida.tv and accessori.tv are the best bets, but the first 2 are premium names and nic.tv rents them at $1k/year
I don't have that money to bet, maybe someone else can do it

Well, I looked through my posts and a good 30% of names i posted were regged and I never received a donation as I have stated numerous times.

what ever happened to the discussion of wether ovt thread should be accessable by exclusive only ? or even platinum/exclusive only.

Suggested donation does not equal required donation. I personally have only regged one of the names listed on here, and it turns out to have all foreign traffic and 0 revenue, so I don't plan on donating for it. If a name I register from here does well, I certainly would plan on donating for it. I don't see anything wrong with this. If your purpose for posting here is to make money, maybe you should create a private email list where people pay you to send them ovt names.

Alot of people do alot of hard work to find names, the ones they dont reg themselves or sell they post here for dnf$, then people like you come along and want to get something for free. What is the big deal of 10$dnf per ovt point.

I agree with clown, you and people like you are the reason I don't post as many names here as I'd like to. How many overture names have you found on your own? Like clown said, it takes a lot of work to find these names, and it makes me mad when I hear the reasons people give to justify their lack of forum etiquette .

Donation should not be on the outcome of the names. I've gone and donated an additional amount after a name I registered ended up jumping ovt by 200+ in one month. But I've also registered names that have flopped, but still donated the suggested amount before checking traffic. If you are going to register a name on this list, do your research on it to determine its potential for traffic. I realize that for every one of you, there are probably 10 people who want to register and donate, do just leave the names to them.

I support making this a private thread and making donations required. I know the quality and quantity of names posted would be greater.

I donate right after I register the domains. I'm not a big fan of foreign traffic, either, so I try to make sure that it's not going to be all the traffic I get. 1800xungsuong.com was an example of a domain I wasn't really interested it. If I can't figure out why the domain has an overture score of whatever, I try to see if I could be something Americian. Even at that, I usually just get the stupid thing. For $6.99, I think it's worth the risk to see what kind of traffic it gets.

I have a domain that gets all Japanese traffic. I mean like 20 hits a day from Japan and nothing else. I couldn't make anything off it, I don't even know what it means in Japan. I sold a link on the site to someone who wanted Japanese traffic and that has more than paid for the registration fee. There's always a way to make money with a domain that gets at least a little traffic.

I wouldn't mind if it went to Exclusive only and the donations were required. I'd actually prefer it.

I donate every time I register a domain from this thread - if it went to "Exclusive" (and I use that term lightly) only, I would be disgruntled to say the least.

I had almost finished a detailed response but my computer randomly restarted. Thus, here is a summary of what I was going to say.

Yes, it is work to find these names. I do not find all that many on my own. I have only registered ONE name on these lists in total.

clown- "What is the big deal of 10$dnf per ovt point." If this is the case, what's the big deal about not getting 10$dnf per ovt point.

regfee- "Donation should not be on the outcome of the names." You directly contradict yourself in the next sentence in saying that you donate more for names in which the outcome is good. If donations were 'required,' I would advocate following that rule. Quality and quantity cannoy both increase as simply as you state. If quality goes up, that means the people who post the names would be registering more of them themselves because they are actually valuable, and thus less names would be posted.

If it went to exclusive, many of the posters on this list would not contribute anymore. Also, a non-exclusive list would probably pop up regardless.
