I think maybe we should be careful posting whois info on this subject , although I agree a remedy could be found somehow. I say this because others can come up with the same domains on their own and register them without knowing they got posted in this thread, I have had this happen to me , I came up with a domain last week and was contimplating registering it , then I saw it was posted on a list in this thread and someone grabbed it , so what if I had decided to register it while the person posted it here not knowing it was posted here? then my whois gets posted and I get flak for finding a domain on my own and registering it? just something to think about.

I edited the post, for the above reason.

It is logical, and highly possible, that others are checking for ovt domains, that may or not be members of this forum.

All domains posted in this and other 'expired' references, are done in "good faith".
We can only ask those members to contribute, should they register a domain while/after "viewing" these lists.

Searchsix.com and Biggedon, the reason I posted the whois is NOT because the fellow only register one OVT domains in these threads without donations. The reason is because he registered over 20, 30's of domains in this thread. That being said, does 30's of OVT domains ALL from these threads becomes a coincidence? Nonetheless, what biggedon said only makes it sound as though everyone do not necessarily have to donate DNF$ for expiring domains. C'mon, those who posted spent time on these domains and yet they don't even deserve that little donation? And for those who registered them, they just make profits and walk away. It is alright if you do not have the DNF$ to donate for the domains, I know that not many are very rich to be able to afford that DNF$250 (Which is like only a $1 if you convert it) but at least a thank you to the contributor will be good too. Oh well..I don't want to talk further about this issue.

I also agree 100% again.
If it was just one or wo names then I would not want the info posted but when it is xx domains it is virtually impossible! PLUS the person is a member here which decreases the odds of it being a coincidence.

Either way we are not here to persecute anyone. If the person simply paid the DNF$ and continued to pay when he registered names then we could move forward. No harm no foul.

Otherwise if it continues we either need to move this forum, post the details in the "people to avoid dealing with" or the people who find the names should just sell the lists instead of providing the free service.
The last suggestion would stink but this thread will die if the reg's without compensation continue.

Thanks for that. I didn't even know that this list existed....I've never even looked at it. In fact, you'll see that all of my posts are in traffic and domain sales.
I have several thousand names and purchase them from many, many domainers. I'm an avid support of this board (my company provides the DN Forum alert service free of charge - http://www.simcast.com.au/install/benefits/dnforum.jsp) and I apologise if I've contravened any agreement on this thread about registering names.
