what's everyone using to find bulk overture info?

I think names from droplists and stuff get scanned and grabbed and not from this thread. The exception in my opinion is domain typos, but I don't think peoples' info should be posted if unsure.

I agree.... I run my own lists and if I decide to register something I find... that also happens to get posted in a forum... I won't donate... nor should I be expected to...

Well I knew posting the whois would create some comment.

I did not say they saw them here, I have no idea who the registrants are, or if they are members here.

There are many donaters and that is terrific, and there are a few who won't/don't for whatever reason, not a biggie either if it's a rare occurence.

And we all know how to look up whois info anyway.

Ok, I've bit my tongue long enough until people started posting WHOIS details.

There is something called etiquette. You should not post WHOIS details in public forums.

Now back to this whining about not getting DNF donated. I’m sure almost 100% of the people who find the names via this thread are donating. I’ve even seen some people donate even though they found the name on their own but later saw it listed in this thread.

You need to realize that not just you, but 100’s if not 1000’s of people scan the SAME list that you do on a daily basis.

And when overture drops 100’s of people are using the same tools to create typos and scan for overture results.

Well, mmvol.com has no overture this month, but last month it was 32. I wrote it down somewhere, but forgot to post it.

It's a typo for mvol.com - Martha's Vineyard Online.

Hmm. Whois.sc says mmvol.com is reserved. Dunno exactly what that means.

I did do that, and everything that came up had some sort of "dispute" on whether the software is good or not.
