Cool... isn't there a limit to how many smilies you can stick in the same area of your post? All those "wowzer-eyes" are freakin' me out. ;)

Oh, yeah... I suppoooose your name is "OK", Duke. Only "just".

I'm glad so many people don't understand the .org market. Just keep believing it's all non profit. :)

Great Name Duke - The .org would work perfect for an industry portal promoting Breakfast in general, backed by sponsers as you mentioned above - Very nice snap - $1,000 wholesale - EndUser - Maybe Priceless - Best of luck - or "Top Of The Morning To You" or in Wilco's case, a lager and muffin maybe......

Thanks Steve (who by the way is another one of those guys who has beaten me to some very nice .orgs. Good thing they are all good guys so I can't stay mad at them - well, I am still a little ticked off about losing GraphicArt.org to you this week Steve! :) )

Sure Steve, blame it on the underlings....I know you put them up to it! :)

Really, congrats on that one and the many other nice ones CPI has been snagging. At least I am happy to see so many good domains going to guys here at the forum rather than BD, Ult and others in the Axis of Evil. :)

Sums this one up perfectly IMHO. Really great potential.

What I meant was the org extension is not to be just associated with charity/non-profit organisations or web sites. They're are literally thousands of commercial org sites out there. That's why I've been buying orgs like crazy for the past few weeks - the market for them seems to be improving all the time. Duke will make a nice profit on his new name.

Excellent Snap Ron, how in the world did you hear it was dropping?

Yes, it's surprising how many fail to grasp the value of org names. I have been preaching about that for yrs in posts. A number of times I did posts regarding the value of the extensions. When I list .org as #-2 or 3 on the list behind com (and rank .us #-3 or 2), I often get feedback implying I must be nuts for thinking org names can be very well used for many business types, not just non-profits as many believe. It seems some domainers simply do not understand the concept and credibility theory of org's.

When I joined this forum last year someone posted that .orgs were much easier to sell than .nets. I thought they were crazy. Sales experience since then has proven to me that he was exactly right.

Still, I would caution people who now think they should rush into this market that you will get killed if you do not understand what kinds of business entities buy .orgs (as well as non-profits of course) and how they are used. The extension does not work at all for many industries and areas of interest. But if you learn which ones they do work for, it is a great market.

That's all I am saying about it. I am already pissed off at myself for divulging what I have because the last thing I want is more competition. :)

Hey, if I was hungry enough, I would probably buy breakfast for around $350.

Yeah .org stinks - waste of time I would recommend all domainers keep away and save their money. Take a tip from an old-timer, move along, there's nothing to be gained here........

Great, the ruse worked! Now while all of these fools are out buying worthless .orgs, those of us on the inside can grab up all those .ws domains we really had our eye on! :)
