Fierce bidding war going on at namejet over this one.

Already at $12K. It will be interesting to see how it ends.

Yet another resilient CVCV.

That's an awesome name!

BACO is the God of Wine, so I guess there might be some drunk people bidding there.

wow
nice name
I wonder how it will end.

Almost like my former POPA :-)

Amazing name. Current High Bid: US $17,599

Bidder: lordbaco

Hmmm...Probably only signed up to get this name. And looks like it's not very smart to show that you are end user, probably.

I stopped at mid. $XXXX

What was your highest bid? ;)

P.S. By the way..Just ended Adsales.com = Winning Bid: US $25,100 Impressive!

Weirdest thing for me is the "drop" of this name!

This domain would be semi-worthless if it weren't a CVCV or whatever.

Never ask why a domain dropped. There have been much much better names that dropped.

Sorry, I can't agree, in countries like Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Italy, etc.... BACO is a very well known GOD and when you mention its name it's 95% of the times immediately related to Wine.

I believe we'll see a wine site there in a few months, though this is just a personal opinion.

Agreed here :)

I don't think this word has any relevance in my country and has only 3 million google results. You may be right though.

what did it sell for?

Well one thing is sure: the domain market is healthy. I sure hope the buyer is one of the 5 registered trademark holders at the USPTO!

Yes Carter, written with only 1 C in most languages.

Too much for this piece of baco(n) :D

Since I always bring sunshine why sto pnow, I see three things here...

1. The fact it was a drop and most drop buyers are mentally handicapped, not financially just mentally it affected price.
2. The highest and best use MAY infringe on a mark.
3. Even if it doesnt end up infringing it is still an awful high price to pay for a market that never did well online and a very narrow part of that market Baco Noir. Like buying a name that reflects one bean of the coffee family.

There, more sunshine :)
