Bad WHOIS info, what can I do about this?

I am trying to contact someone so I can try to purchase a domain from them but their WHOIS info is wrong. Can I report this somewhere? What can be done about this? Thanks.

what will that accomplish though?
at the 'best' case, the domain will be taken away, and maybe go through the drop cycyle. Will you get it then???
