They appear to have made a smart move... I have a feeling that other banks will follow suit.

That's a hint to grab a copy of their annual reports and snag all the "(exec name)blows.com" names that are still available

Very similar to what George Bush did in 1999... http://www.wired.com/politics/law/news/1999/05/19703

Oddly enough, none of the domains mentioned in the WSJ article resolve to any webpage. I'm sure they'll find some creative use for it. 439 domains at $7.17/year is $3,147.63 a year in renewal fees - why let it go to waste?

Bank of America is about to get hammered by Wikileaks.

This was a rumor a while back and now Assange has confirmed that BofA is the next target and said there would be resignations.

All of these documents come from an computer of a very high up exec and when that computer was changed out, someone took out and kept the hard drive.

I think the buying up of many names is an attempt by BofA to try and get there first, before someone else does.

i checked for a laugh and 'f u c kbofa.com' is already regged
8 years ago!

doesn't matter what domains they reg

people will find through search and it will be high ranking news sites and political sites that win and get the eyeballs

Which reminds me... I really need to do something with *uckingthieves.com
