Somebody's laughing

no doubt about it......it was a new listing and would have been hard to find because of the category it was listed under. Instead of it being listed under;Acronyms, it was listed under; Uncategorized. Many times before, new members will list there domains under the first quick category they find. A nice gem in the hay to the buyer.

Can you "hear" all of the people jetting over to Afternic to
find another needle in the haystack
?

sounds like a party
:party:
:-D

Almost too good to be true..................

Been a few bargains at Afternic lately. But uncatagorized is like a whole other world. Almost like following a drop in itself.

Likely this is not a legit seller. The sellers other domains include auctions.com which happens to be owned by cnet

Ya, his other listings are sporadic as well. I should have checked that out first. Thanks deepstar for putting that to rest...............

I gave a quick heads up to Afternic just in case someone is monitoring and can pull it.
Shocks like that can hurt a guy :)

If this is legit, then all I can say is WTF :D

Im looking for his next auctions;

lol what a super pick up!

It was removed a while back. Believe it or not, we've actually had a few members who thought they could sell a domain even though they didn't know how domains are owned. :worried:

LOL.

Was browsing the threads and ran across this one regarding wtf.com. I am the one who thought I made off like a bandit with this name at afternic. As I always do, I checked sellers other listings to see what other names he had, and I became very suspicious when I noticed "auctions.com" and others listed all in the same day. I was able to reach Michael Collins at afternic and he agreed to look into the matter. Michael called me back the following morning and confirmed my suspicions. Anyway, hats off to Michael and afternic for getting to the bottom of the matter as quickly as they did.
