link of any website on your website as per the laws or is it binding to seek permission from that website before posting any link of that website?

Most people would be happy to have the link unless it's a site with content that could be bothersome (illegal, adult, defamatory). And as long as you're linking for a positive reason, not pointing out a site you think is badly run.
