The player does look very promising, I wouldn't be surprised if other broadcasting companies begin to jump on similar concepts.

BBC is one of those companies that definitely "gets it"

True. Their news is the 'only news' worth watching as far as i'm concerned.
The only tv i watch is bbc news 24

This iplayer is free to everyone in the world though.
We gotta pay our tv licence fee to bbc though!!! here in UK :mmph:

I'll forgive them if they develop the mobi.
I emailed thier domain technical dept. today about it & got this back:

It was also considered during the Public Value Test consultations. Mobile has always been on the roadmap for BBC iPlayer but we are still firming up the details as to how and when we intend to deploy this. [/FONT]​
