I registered a domain name because I plan (or planned on) joining this company and becoming an affiliate location. They only allow of course one affiliate name and someone grabbed it before me o now I have a domain name that maches someone else's affiliate and they are demanding the name.

Without giving the domain name it is something like this. >>

FitThin.com (is the company name and is TM'd).

I own UrbanFitThin.com and they have someone else that signed up and registered as an affiliate with FatThin and used "urban" as their affiliate company name.. F.T. is now saying I must hand over the domain UrbanFatThin.com because I violated a TM'd company name.

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks

Rob

Thanks all.. I have decided this is not even worth fighting over.. I am just going to cancel the domain name and let them buy it they are able.

I planned on using the name not squat on it but the way they came at me out of the blue was crazy.

Oh well.. I will not do business with them and all is solved.

Thanks

Rob

I would not delete the domain if I were you, someone else might snap it for whatever reason and your problems could multiply.

Get an agreement in writing that you are released from any and all future litigation and hand them the domain over.
