Vision, I am a great believer in .mobi. However, what you'll find is that big brands are of course embracing it, primarily because of the very low cost of entry. E.g.: domain registration cost and price of a few XHTML pages is NOT like that of a fully-fledged site. Good to see the big players in the space, but it ain't costing fortunes to take a punt on the space.

Having said that, nice to see the interest increasing.
