Ive been doing a bit of ready on sites like dropwatch, domainsbot etc and im about to take the plunge and subscribe to one of these services and i need a bit of advice.

Im pretty impressed with droplists.net considering its included in my platinum sub service. Its actually very functional when you get use to the interface. Although it seems to have a problem retaining my account password...

At the moment im interested in picking up .com's and .net's falling into the popular categories (gambling, finance, porn, web design etc etc) with small to medium link pop, existing SE links and listings and preferably with some decent overture stats.

Im not aiming for premium domains here, just medium quality ones with some traffic that will generate a decent PPC income when i park them.

Im mainly interested in income from parked domains at this stage.

Secondary to that is there potential for resale value.

What services suit that kind of thinking the best...

Any advice is really appreciated including advice not directly related to droplists.

You can always watch the lists one day after drop, but most off them will be gone then.

Ya most of the decent ones will be gone. The rest you can almost be assured wont be worth reg fee with the amount of people combing through the lists.

I still havent signed up for the more expensive services yet, im not sure there entirely worth it.

You don't have to use Pool, there's plenty of other services. I've had a lot of luck with Pool catching them, but then the put it up for auction and some of the domains go into the thousands with the bidding.

Upgrade to Exclusive. Use the domain retrieval software to get list from droplist. which in turn got their list from exody.
