Best for-sale landing pages?

My portfolio gets a little traffic but hardly any clicks, so I'm thinking of skipping the parking pages & sending visitors straight to for-sale pages.

Any recommendations on good ones? I saw a handful of them here, but am hoping to hear about others that convert well. Thanks.

- CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT ($100, lots of segmented articles and reviews)
- SEOPressor to target keywords ($97 for unlimited sites, and if you have a low density, target some manually as a lander page can have a lot of text)
- A WSO with images such as "30 Day Money Back Guarantee" (~$10 for the package, but has PDF's to match colors and a ton to choose from)
- Samurai Scarcity ($197 for unlimited sites, may be a coupon still available, but you just missed it for 60% off)
- SEO ($350, press release, bookmarks, tweets, etc. done naturally to rank)
- AWeber ($130/mo for a double-opt in list management for up to 25,000 emails).
- Dedicated server ($160/mo)

A WELL WORTH $1421 initial investment for your first site, because if one site doesn't convert as well, you only need to invest in a new domain name, $100 for more content and $350 for SEO. In the meantime, your other site is becoming a cash cow to fund other sites. Eventually, you'll have 10+ passive income domains making money everyday with huge conversions (as each new site would only cost you $450(+domain fee) to develop).

Your only upkeep is $290/mo until you start selling.

I'm not BS'ing you, I have affiliate links, I've done it, I'm not going to walk you through baby steps. If you do use the advice above though, you're more than welcome to buy me a Monster Energy drink when you see conversions coming in. You aren't going to make the $50,000 a month promised or whatever, but you'll make enough if you keep working at it and building your niche email list.

Yeah, I bought 6-8 designs from Chuck. As far as I know, they're just minisites that he does. If he could do landing pages, I'd be interested.

And it's not about the selling price of the domain either. Target anything and sell for multiples... You're bound for a good ROI.

Add outsourcing to the mix for $100 a site to develop them fully or if Chuck can make one with his base price of $399 go with him. He has fantastic keyword rich content he can provide. Again, I'm unsure of if he does minisites but can attest that he does a great job with minisites that convert quite well with PPC. Send him a PM and see what he can do.

A lander page with just selling domains is different than a landing page that works on autopilot to earn even more passive income as you would be paid on a commission basis for products/services you sell and add a domain for sale link somewhere, add it to your sitemap and then end users are aware they can purchase the name through a domain market place.

Either way, it takes 1 hour to setup everything by getting an outsourced team together with Wrike project management and assigning tasks to certain people, before you know it, the site is done and it's making more money than being parked / for sale lander.

If you want a "for sale" lander that's eye-catching (I find Sedo's bland, like I'm back in the year 2000), contact Tia Wood on this forum to design your own around your company name and still sell them through market places, PayPal direct (depending on price) or Escrow. (This is if you just want to sell the domain, but not monetize it in anyway)

Whichever route you take is up to you obviously; however, the one I suggested would be more lucrative if you have good domain names and know what they're looking for already and have steady type-in traffic as you'll grow it exponentially through organic searches, email marketing and social networking.

simplicity works well, when a good name is being sold for a good price


my portfolio site has crap design, but it's ranked on 1st page of G for "hand picked premium domain names", produces referral sales, adsense income and even a paid link or two......all done in notepad.

another domainsupermart com (1 page mini-site in notepad), also on 1st page of G for same keywords, has a link for each name that opens an email offer or I can link to sedo page or paypal button.

I like that design, very simple and clean, but there is one thing that I would do in order to monetize it rather than selling your own domain. I'd remove "comparable domains" as that can be pointed out in the negotiations process. Instead, I would find domains in your selling price range on Sedo and use your affiliate link to sell "similar" domains to what they're looking for instead.

At first glance, they may not like your name (though they have the budget) and see a $10,000 name they just have to have (impulse buyer). Buy now, Escrow it, and still make money whether you're left with a domain or not (sold yours instead).

Just a tip.

Another possibility is that you could make a squeeze page with chances to buy at the top, middle and bottom, put in satisfied customer reviews that bought domains from you in the past, etc. This landing page could then educate an end user what the domain industry is all about and they could have a final chance to buy it towards the end or go on their marry little way to your GoDaddy affiliate link at the bottom that you still get commission on if they want a $15 name instead of $1500 (so you still earn while you wait, instead of irrelevant/little-to-no content with AdSense that could get your account banned). The only thing you would need to do to a site like this would be to add the name, add more reviews if you get any and change the price every once in a while. Other than that, sit and forget about it.

Apologize that I didn't get what you were trying to do from the first post, I thought you just mean't making squeeze pages/lander pages for CPA.

I agree too, you can't sell a mattress with "blood stains" on it. However, make sure that the theme that you do use is W3 compliant so you may be able to rank higher if you don't have a lot of errors/none at all.

Sometimes, you can't get an error free page. However, I'm currently running a test trial and after going from 200 errors to 80 (some like G+ show up as errors), I was able to see a 1 slot higher ranking. It didn't play a factor before, but I believe that this does now.

:lol: I'm sure everyone would get the joke of the rules and posting that it's not an affiliate link. I'm sure he doesn't capture variables like that and it would also be an absurd username/ID to use if I were an affiliate. It redirects to the main site nonetheless and I will not be credited for any sales made through it. I suppose it slipped through the cracks as dull humor.

I've plugged Chuck many times in many different threads for work that he's done. I think if he got sales through that, he'd slip me some cash... but he doesn't cause I'm not affiliated with nichewebsites.com or Chuck... just use the service & think it's a great option to use if you're overloaded at the time.

I just noticed that he offers $199 pages now. This could be a great option to use for starters as it doesn't include unique content and you can buy 5 articles for $25, saving $175 from the next package up, except you will have to do your own on site SEO. You must ask yourself the question, "Is $175 worth ranking on page 1 initially for certain keywords worth it or not?", before making a purchase decision.

Also, ask for bulk deals... I'm sure he has something up his sleeve for them.
