actually looking for the best place not only for PPC but once listed other engines will pick up your listing and slowly add it to their engines.

I suggest that you check out Roar.com. They are a part of Fabulous.com, which has advertised here at DNF. They are building traffic and get a lot of their traffic from domain name owners (including me). I think the cost of bids is quite a bit lower than at some other sites. Fabulous is a great company to deal with -- outstanding customer service. Fabulous owns more than 100,000 domains themselves.

In the travel business, unless you have a big ad budget, Overture and google are outta-sight for travel terms. I used Overture a lot last year until they upped my 1 & 2-cent niche terms to a dime a click. Google did me some good, but not enough to keep using them.

Now I have had some success with Kanoodle, Ah-Ha and FindWhat. Findwhat (I have been with them for 3 years) seems the most effective, but then again, at the highest cost. However, the sleeper of the 2nd tier PPCs that I have tried is SearchFeed. I started using them to backfill SERPS on my little SirSpider.com search site - then decided to try them with a PPC account - I can actually afford the terms Hotels and Travel - WOW. Seriously, I am currently testing them with one of my small sites and I have a small positive ROI - which isn't bad for starting out. (If you are interested in checking them out, I'd appreciate it if you go in through a link on SirSpider.com - Thanks.)

If you are interested in more specifics, send me a PM.

Does Findwhat have a PPC engine for owners to list domains on or can you only purchase keywords ads with them?

As far as I can tell, you can only partner (i.e. sell traffic) with FindWhat if you have heavy duty traffic. They do not even state how much they are looking for. I have used FindWhat to purchase traffic.

Here is a link to a thread I started some time ago that covers FindWhat. You need to look at the posts towards the bottom of that page: http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25080&perpage=20&pagenumber=3
