Just found that my favorite SEO software has recent changed to online and monthly fee/s.

I guess $100 a month beats the heck out of $300 for a life time but I grow tired of it.

$60 a year at register so I dont have to pay $15 a name.

Price by bandwidth and monthly pricing coming soon/now.

No CDs on PC because you can download everything!!!

I was on the net before we really had a net, but I grow tired of this BS.

A hammer and a nail work as well as they did 300 years ago and you dont have monthly payments, and both might last that long.

This is getting old, next we will have to pay monthly for our roof

People are going to apply a monthly subscription model whenever they can, as that is easily the best method to generate revenue. Not ideal for the consumer, and I try to avoid it where possible, but it's becoming increasingly common.
