Looks like he disappeared after seeing this thread and realizing he's been nailed down. Until last week he would answer emails ( lying back and forth of course but trying to be "nice")) now he doesn't even do that. My opinion on him has not changed since I start dealing with him - the guy is a crook who is out to scam people.

No offence, but this serves a lesson, and you are really only to blame for being sucked in.
This was an obvious scam from the opening sentence. I feel bad that you lost your money because you were helping out what seemed to be a respected member of the forum. But people will do almost anything for money sometimes. Especially when they are desperate.
I have been taken before on places like eBay but they got me on a loophole that paypal had with refunding payments. I eventually got some of my money back from paypal but it took over a year.
I would just chalk this one up to a loss and move on. It doesnt see like you will get your money back. Be careful...Dont you get shady emails like this everyday in your regular email box??? I know I do!

Nothing here, he swore on "his word" that he would be refunding my money tuesday night which has now come and passed, this is getting fun...he is going to actually piss me off to the point where I spend alot more money & time just to get back my $250

A telltale sign here.
I find it strange that a domain broker used to transactions in the $$,$$$ range (at least) needs to borrow $250 all of a sudden. At the very least this suggests he has serious cash flow problems.

He pitched it to me that he had no funds in his paypal account and needed money for a quick smaller sized transaction. You would have to appreciate how this was not an unusual sort of email from greg, as we regularly did small favours for one another. The bottom line is, its very easy for everyone coming into this thread saying how obviously this was a scam etc etc. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we weren't privy to that. If you don't trust anyone you have ever dealt with online enough to spot them $300, I feel sorry for you.
Anyway, back to the here and now. Fact is Greg has had more than enough time now, i've heard every excuse under the sun...
Greg did email me few days and suggested yet another solution to repay the money. He gave me control over some future revenue from parking few domains he owns. It might take long time ( as his revenue is small), but we'll see. So he may still try to accomodate the people he hurt.

I have a similar story with the guy with username Seek99 in the dnforum. He sold me fake scripts for two of the turkish forums he sold me. It happened after i handed in the scripts to the technician that the forums were not only in english, they were redirected to his english forum.
Stay away from him.

Greg also told me that he wants to work out a "payment plan" to make sure I get all the monies that are owed to me...
He owes about 5 people money, and he insists that he will have everyone paid off soon.
I will keep everyone updated with my situation with him

Guys, please open your Eyes, this guy is FULL of S***, if you are in trouble with money just sell your domains or go to work even 18 hours a day, you dont need to type about your mother cancer, your wife and your son, people that act like him are completely full of S****.
