Thought maybe that I had found another drop catching service. So I emailed these guys but got directed at ...

http://biditwinit.pool.com

Why would they have their own subdomain at pool? Seems to me everyone and his brother is setting up their own little shell operation to get a larger piece of the POOL pie. I mean the higher the bids go it would seem to me that more and more registrars/individuals would want a part in this. This appears to be a separate Namesecure offshoot to grab more bandwidth under the guise of a new sucky domain site that has no functionality or development.

BidItWinIt is one of the registrars pool uses. They seem to be one of the registrars who became a registrar solely for the purpose of whoreing out their registry connections.

Their pool affiliation would be the obvious reason for the site you reference.

I won a couple domains with them through pool. Haven't had to make any changes yet, but instead of the standard "here are your login details" email, I got one that said something along the lines of "our site is still in development, if you need to update your domain send us an email and we'll try to help you"
