My experience with one of my domains, hosting related, 600 visitors/day:
Sedo: $4/day
NameDrive: $7/day
Trafficz and Parked: $13-$14/day
SmartName: $40/day
for the same domain.

Remember, everyone thought the guys at Enron were geniuses, nice guys, would never do anything wrong... Especially the ones that knew them.

If it looks to good to be true, it probably is, and I think that there is some potential liability there.. I also did NOT say that it IS fraud, just that it smells like it, who knows, these guys COULD be much smarter than anyone else...

I made an update about that post. The traffic was stable but the Clik Thru Rate dropped 10 times. Anyway, for my other domains SN makes it very well. At this time SN is paying in a 50 day basis. I also use NameDrive because is really easy to manage and the traffic stats are very good.

I'm very sure that no fraud is happening at Skenzo. If they were defrauding the system why on earth would they pass on the proceeds to the domainer?!?!? Makes no bloody sense at all.

No, the reason the CTR's are high is because the keyword optimization is fast and righteous and the landers arn't shabby. Simple as that.

I just recently bought a parcel of names from BuyDomains and created a seperate account to track them. Here's my complete stats:

Now keep in mind that this is ALL ADULT TRAFFIC so the RPC's are low compared to mainstream traffic. I did very little manual optimization, maybe 5 or 6 names out of 214. And these are AFTER the Klickerz cut (15%) is removed.

Notice how the CTR is steadily climbing. Thats because the auto-optimizer is working. I anticipate continuing steady increase for the next month or so and expect based on these figures that earnings will stabalize at around 70-80 bucks a day.

I remember when I first used this system how totally blown away with it I was because inside of the 1st month I was on track to begin earning 3X as much money than I'd been at DS, Fab, Hitfarm, GK, and TrafficZ COMBINED! And thats what I've been doing for almost a year now, making 3x as much.

I liked the system so much I started Klickerz and built it on the Skenzo foundation. I work very closely with those guys to make sure that names are optimized correctly and that any problems are dealt with quickly. I definitly earn my cut. In fact by aggregating so much traffic a small domainer will actually earn more money going thru Klickerz than they would if they could get a direct account.

I laugh at people who swear by DS and say they use them exclusively because when I had my entire portfolio sitting there I made about 100 bucks a day. No one should use ANY system/company exclusively. I still send a bit of traffic to each company (except Hitfarm which canceled my account because I wasn't earning their minimum of 10k/month anymore, :LOL and I'm always retesting various names and categories. If a particular name makes more money at one place than another and you can deal with the hastles of multiple accounts then by all means thats where it should stay.

I recall Luc Lezon saying he was working on a ware to make parking testing a much more easy process. I'd like to see that soon.

I can explain why Skenzo's CTR is so high. Their landing page format works much better for most typo traffic than Domainsponsors.

Skenzo's landing page looks like a website. DS's landing page looks like a category search.

People who are unsophisticated with computers and use the browser bar as a search engine (foriegn traffic, high quality generics) will do fine on DS's landing page.

A more internet savvy user (say myspace traffic, adult traffic or typo's) will quickly click out of DS at a pretty high rate. However the landing page at Skenzo will cause more of those users to stick around and click through.

That's the conclusion I've come to after testing hundreds of domains against DS and Skenzo.

One is not better than the other on an individual basis, so I use both. But on a portfolio basis, I would guarantee that Skenzo will get higher ctr unless you have primarily high quality generics.

BTW, I have been using Klickerz for about two weeks. The overall payouts are by far the best I've found in the four companies I've tested. Individually, about 4 out of 5 domains do better there. I will post more stats and details in another couple weeks.

Klickerz doesn't have a min # of domains nor of traffic. But what we do look for is the dollar volume. Due to the amount of work involved we're looking for accounts that can earn at least $500/month. So if you're doing $200 or more elsewhere then its worth a shot.

Skenzo handles all the payments. They're a subsidiary of DirectI which has been around for about as long as anyone in this industry. Been timely according to terms for as long as I've dealt with them, never once late, a few times early.

Right. All payments are handled direct by Skenzo's payment provider. I could opt to take control of this like TC and some other's do but at this juncture I prefer they handle it. Less work (and less expense) for me.

Just so no one thinks I'm just going to trot out the thouroughbreds this client's RPC is actually very low and most of his names aren't the kind you'll be reading about in DNJournal.

This client has just added another 300+ names to our system (you can see the number reflected in yesterdays (7-25-06) total) So you can logically infer that even though the RPM is low the client is happy and we must be doing something right. Better than where he has them now anyway.

The point here is that your numbers are going to be consistent with the quality and quantity of traffic you have. No way around that. We're not miracle workers.

These look like normal CTR's to me, I'm actually getting better at SEDO (I hand optimize) - but payouts are low...

When I tried DS my income DROPPED by 2/3 vs SEDO...Their lack of targeting just does not work for me, I try to understand why someone is getting to my domain and optimize to that.

My comments about possible fraud were based on the 100% and better CTR that others said they are getting there, I just dont see that as realistic under any circumstances.

One factor to keep in mind in when comparing is that not all programs count uniques in the same way. I suspect that Sedo throws out a good deal of my traffic before it even gets counted as a "Visit". This makes the overall RPM look higher, but the total revenue the domain makes might be the same or lower than at other places. Sedo is still worth it for some names, and you get more offers to buy when parked with them, but I am checking all my names at other places now to see if they get more traffic and revenue (not just RPM!) parked elsewhere.

I have found that google direct has worked the best for me. Revenue is WAY up on most of the domains I have put there (3-4X Sedo) and SO is traffic and RPM... I'm using both my parking4income templates and the dnf PPC templates ... performing about the same.

I have not tried Skenso..
