relevancy rank is more important than page rank nowaways or in future.

Actually, Google.com has a PR 10

Are you sure?

bing.co.uk - PR 6

google.co.uk - PR 8

bing.com - PR 9

google.com - PR 10

Well, it is trully confusing because, I've used 3 different tools including Xinu which gives me

google.com PR 10
BING : PR9

But SEO soft gives me Bing 9
google 8

SEO is sending the request from a french ip
Xinu from a US ip.

Would that make a difference ?

Perhaps not all the PR databases have been updated to match each-other, and different ones are being queried?

Either that or one of the websites is caching the previous PR results and just showing them.

Are you sure you are typing in the correct address?

Google.co.uk, which is featured in your screen print, is a PR 8.

Google might have the largest user base but Bing is definitely becoming the better engine.

I don't really think google matters on it's own search engine ranking.
I doubt any search engines are getting traffic with people searching on them to get to another one.

ssems like your point is... that the subject of this thread is pointless

if one is already searching google and bing comes up in a google search....the user is still using google, so the rank for bing doesn't matter.

the only thing that would matter if people started using bing more than google

It's not that pointless but yes that's what i just mean like if I was on google and i search search engine and the first one was bing.com i probably won't go on it.

Search engine get more traffic from direct traffic ex:google. I mean yes bing.com could got alot of traffic in the beginning like when it was released but after a while people know it they will unlikely search search engine to go to bing.com and use it as their search engine.
Probably stay at google.com

But either way I like bing.com's design :)

:?: If you are looking for Google.com by searching for it ON Google, you don't deserve to find it...

Absolutely right...

Anyway, the whole point of this thread was just to show some irony...

But as I said, I got confused with other "Page Rank checker"...

However, what Draggar mentioned is funny...and true, of course we won't go on Google to search for search engine and be disappointed not to find Google in the first result...but it is just amusing...that's it...no need for philosophical debate :)

Thanks, that did make me laugh..

Doesnt mean a great deal either way but laughed nonetheless.

If you can't check the PR of Google.com in your toolbar because you get redirected to the co.uk version, then type www.google.com/ncr into the address bar. That should override the redirect.

Cheers
James
