Biz was used to represent "business" long before the internet was ever around.

My point is now companies are beginning to "market" (that big "m" word) dot biz sites emphasizing their "e" capabilities.

As "business" was synonymous with offline ventures, ".biz" is slowing becoming synonymous with "e-business".

The site you cited there, however, wasn't a .biz site, though it did have "biz" as a substring of its third-level subdomain. The subdomain was within a .com domain, however.
