The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. The biggest bucks this time out went to Blogging.com, a domain that was actually auctioned off for six figures back in June at the Moniker/T.R.A.F.F.I.C. New York conference, but just changed hands this week.

There was a lot of variety on this week's Top 20, with almost half of the chart going to non .com domains. In fact six of the top ten domains were other extensions including three .nets, a .mobi, a .org and a .co.uk. It was an especially strong week for the Global Contenders as that category placed six names on the leader board. The Country Code chart was topped by a .co.uk domain that ranks among the 20 biggest ccTLD sales reported so far this year. You can get all of the details here: http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm

An update to the new weekly report. Since publishing last night we have learned that the sale of Blogging.com was for a fully developed website - not a domain name only. As a result it has been removed from our chart.
