I kinda like the logic in your comments, however, I was tete-a-tete in an auction where more than 4 bidders, likely resellers, were open to pay more than 2K. Make that 5 with me.

I have sold domains with no searches, no generic meaning, no income, longer and uglier (and only .com TLD regged) at more than 2K.

Blood Pressure is a SOLID generic term. and .COM, .NET, .ORG,. US, .BIZ, .ME., .INFO, .CA and even .MOBI, .DE, .TV, .CO.UK are ALL TAKEN. So there has to be "some" interest. (grin)

I have some development ideas, but that's not about intrinsic domain value.

Are you guys high?! No developer is going after .net, I check there is nothing developed on .com or .org so it's open season! Now if a true developer or a business comes after a domain they will go after .com and if they are serious they will get it. Now that they have .com they really don't need your .net it is not a MUST for them so they will pay you MAX 2k since they can function just fine with out your .net.

Let's now look at this situation other way, buyer comes but can't afford the .com that means he surly won't give a big chunk of his budget for a .net knowing he has to build and compete against the .com. Again you won't get more then 2k for it.

Since you say that you have paid more then 500 for it I am wondering how are you planing to make $ on that? You could be waiting more then 5 yr to sell that and if you do manage to sell for 2k that is a high end you are not that big of a winner.

You can go to your local electronic store buy some open box stuff end resell and you will make 1500$ with in 2months

Sorry buddy but this is not going to fly the way you have planned.

I can say surly that you won't be able to sell this domain on the forum here for more then 500$

Acro I believe but they were probably product/service related where there is $ to be made in sales/leads not on INFO related domain

Try googling blood pressure monitors and see:

Many websites selling them
Many infosites selling/them, profitting from Adsense
Many made-for-adsense infosites
Some websites selling them with affiliate sales programs

There is money in that market! My patients alone buy not less than 10 of these monitors per week.
Also, infosites on drugs for high blood pressure and online pharmacies are making zillions
