I think I would prefer the hardened visceral entrails of a cadaver. Something like sinew. They used to make violin strings and tennis rackets out of cat gut. That will do nicely.

What made me think of that was a 34 year old dumbass out riding an ATV with no lights. Damn things have a habit of flipping and throwing you out and then landing on top of you. He doesn’t remember what happened or how it happened but he will damn sure remember the rest of this night (maybe).

The whole time while he was winching in pain with 5 broken ribs and sucking for air with a collapsed lung and bleeding like a stuck pig I was wondering how my mobi’s were doing.

personally.. on one hand I really sympathized w/the story and it's definitely a lesson learned .

on the other hand.. i couldn't stop thinking of all the premium domains... like atv.mobi, pain.mobi, ribs.mobi, lung.mobi, etc. etc...

see what you've made me become???? a monster

Just curious, Does anyone know why Bodis wont accept Adult domains? I dont know of any other parking service that rejects adult.

I like coco bolo myself...have it on alot of my pistols as custom wood grips :ok:

My favorite exotics are Zebrawood, Rosewood, Purple Heart and Sapele Pommele....For hand grips; Ebony and Cocobolo.

maybe they don't have the adult disclaimer page..there are alot of legal hang-ups and mumbo jumbo when dealing with adult domains...and you know paying out 100% of the revenue and all it's not like they can pay a programmer to set it up...right?

rosewood...now we're talking baby! ;)

Funny, you always struck me a curly cherry man. ;)

I was thinking GrayMatter.mobi, pneumothorax.mobi, morphine.mobi, ThatMustHurtLikeASonOfABitch.mobi, ThisWillHurt.mobi, ThatsGonnaLeaveAMark, and 2mmDeviation.mobi.

2 mm is the amount of flesh separating the anus portal from the vigina.

2 mm is all that separates an asshole from a pussy.

Doc, YOURE AWESOME!!! :D

You guys are reading wayyy too much into this rev-share percentage filler and losing your business sense. Your primary concern should really be return-on-investment.

Who cares if Bodis is paying out 10%, 100%, or 200% of their revenue? I sure don't. The only thing that matters to me is if each domain makes more at Bodis or at another parking alternative. So, set up some rotation scripts, split-test your traffic, and adjust to give the higher performers more of your visitors. The rest is just noise.

I can't help but get dumbfounded when people bitch "Bodis is paying too little per click" or "Sedo is shaving my traffic" or any number of other complaints posted here daily. If you guys feel that way, exercise some capitalism and take your business elsewhere.

The first sensible and on-topic post on this thread in awhile. Thanks for getting it back on track.

I am a Bodis member since July, got my payment for July on Sept. 15th (exactly on time - net 45). It was my first payment EVER from ANY parking service, and I have tried many over the past year.

So, Bodis works, and I for one, am willing to give it more time to improve even more. Right now they are doing a fraud audit and cleaning house. This will get rid of the frauds and riffraff, and make it better for the rest of us.

I wonder if we will be hearing more such stories soon.

They are in the process of sending out the termination emails. Supposedly only 10% are sent out.

Please Help Me I am out close to $1000

You didn't lose $1,000. You only lost what you were supposed to get when you parked at other PPC companies. That might be in the high $$ or low $$$. $$$$ was paper revenue not the actual revenue.

Anyways.. I don't think Bodis.com took your money. Basically..the revenue got stripped from the provider(s). They discredited the revenue from your domains which result zero payment to Bodis

But his claim of loss is based on the stats for August on a single domain, as seen in the screenshot.

$$$$ was paper revenue not the actual revenue.

Everyone else that has posted in BODIS threads, claim that whatever appears in their account is final revenue. So there are no adjustments.

The Bodis Fraud –

Enjoysex.biz

It's clearly stated in their ToS that adult names are strictly prohibited.
They aren't getting paid for them by their advertisers, so they can't pay you.

go to NP forum.. there is a 100+ page single thread on Bodis..

Lots of information on why accounts are terminated and how they are terminated. It all depends on the quality of your portfolio. If your portfolio only has one bad domain (bad quality traffic)... they usually disable that one domain and you can re-instate your account, etc. etc.

Anyways.. your $1,000 revenue is "Bodis revenue". If you parked at other PPC, I can almost guarantee that the revenue is much less

Your telling me Matt started this parking site in April and is just now determining which domains he should terminate? Further, not only is he terminating domains but entire portfolios without warning? Wiping out entire months worth of revenue and keeping the revenue for himself as he sees fit? No wonder its on a 45 day payout the longer he can keep you on the hook then terminate account without notice and more importantly without paying out!

Yes. Apparently the feed provider clamped down, it's been discussed heavily over at the "other forum" (no names).
Up until now the Bodis program has been in Beta testing, and not all contol systems has been in place. It seems about 10% of the accounts has been closed, and many more has just been getting one or two domains disabled.
If your whole account was terminated there must have been an issue with more than just a couple of names in it.
But you can ask Matt to review your case again, others have, and some have been getting their accounts reinstated, but without the bad domains.

.

LOL no wonder NP's traffic spikes up with such crap. I'd like to see Matt post here instead but he never spends any time on DNForum.

However, I think that the ones who got them reinstated ware those who had names that they couldn't know were bringing "bad traffic" as the feed provider calls it. If you had names that were in direct violation with the ToS, I think it may be another story.
