Finished after 2:43 minutes of extra bidding at a really nice price.

bogota.com $159,500.00
vaxis Ended

I was watching that, was at 55K with ~5m left. Crazy.

What a week for outright dom sales and big money drops. Bogota = biggest city and capital of Colombia, very good purchase for city portal. Don't know if the Whois has been update to reflect the buyer, but I would not be surprised to read that Chris Chena bought this name given his foray into internet development in South America.

I would love to see the expression on the face of the Plonker that let this drop when he finds out!

Microsoft let it drop

draqon contacted them, before it went to auction

Me: Then would you perhaps give it to me?

Them: Hahaha, who do we look like? The salvation army?

Me: Ok, then would you sell it to me?

Them: Now youre talking...Are you planning on paying thousands of dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars, or perhaps millions of dollars?

Me: Thousands of dollars, for sure.

Them: Then noone will bother selling it to ya, we got better things to do with our time. Register it when it gets deleted.

The End.

Yes, it always amazes me how many people actually choose to have Private Registrations. When publicity comes at such a premium it always baffles me why so many pay for privacy. I have just received an apparently serious enquiry on a domain I forgot I had. Without the contact details, I might have let it drop, without ever knowing it was sellable!

Best Regards

It might be they are only employees, and do not want trouble. Also, the issue of Nigerian scams, i receive emails offering millions of dollars of money every day.
