i was watching pbs last night

they did a report on companies who's contracts with BP were canceled after these companies had manufactured "booms", ordered materials etc.

BP supposedly changed the qc specifications after production started, then rejected millions of dollars worth of finished product based on those new spec guidelines.

maybe those fake fishermen are really BP people

CBS or NBC also broadcast a piece on this. One company alone was stuck with a bill of $2.5 million in materials to build the boom for BP.

I saw this as well, makes you realize how many people beyond BP were affeceted by all this.
