Thank you to the forum mods & staff for your stance on domain names relating to the disaster in Japan. While everyone on this forum is here to take advantage of our freedom to capitalize on current events and markets, I fully support the decision to maintain a professional level of integrity by disallowing the sale of names relating to taking advantage of such a horrific event.

Kudos to DNF

I agree. Early this morning I saw a domain that was just registered probably within an hour of being posted here. And I thought " how can some one have no compassion and be so selfish to register such domain/s to take advantage of such a sad and horrific disaster just to make a few bucks". It's a shame that some of the domainers will do such things.

Kudos to DNF for not allowing the sale of those domains.

Thanks.

I support this as well. Too bad other places don't adopt or follow the same policy.

I support that too. I have a friend on Southern part of Japan.
He is fine for now.
The guy was my best man at my wedding 6 years go. So this incident is very close to home.

It is the right thing to do, that's why we do it.

Given ANY two choices, the mods and I will always take the high road.

I also have great respect for the mods and the choicing they make.

Thanks for understanding.

Just heard fro my friend via email. He is fine 8 hours away from ground zero by train. Evacuations from nuclear reactors still ongoing and volcano active.
It looks bad for Northern Japan.:(

The situation is critical there and I suppose that all together we need to do something and O do support that.
