building a site

I regged the name shop4dvds.com and would like to develop it into a shopping portal of some sort for DVDs (listing best prices, deals of the week, and etc.)

What is the best way to go about this? Any scripts?
What format should I use?

Any suggestions for developing this name?

That sounds like lots of work...

The cheapest way would probably be the DIY-way (Do-It-Yourself) but that would cost much time.

There is an open source shop available which is pretty good and does have a lot of "addons" you could put on like an affiliate program, etc.

The name is oscommerce .
I don't remember the domain right now but it should be easy to find.
