For Sale Bulk Reg expired name...How do I secure it?

I have been monitoring a domain at bulk reg and it recently expired. What is the BEST way to go about securing the name from them?

BulkRegister is a preferred partner of snapnames. So if you get in earlier enough you can bipass the backorder stage and go straight to the bid at snapnames.

I would search at snapnames and see if the name shows up.

What's the status and updated date? If it's com or net check the registry whois (http://www.internic.net/whois.html)

I am BulkRegister's aftermarket domain consultant and there are two ways you can get this domain:

1. If it's a domain you absolutely must have, you would have bid on it at Snap, EXCEPT Enom bought BR yesterday (let's hope BR's domain management system doesn't get replaced by Enoms... :-( -- so the Snapnames connection is no longer viable I'm told. It looks like you are now forced to use Clubdrop at Enom. Minimum bid on a domain is $30.

2. However, if it's a domain that isn't obvious (keyword/brand) to others as being valuable in some sense to bidders on Club Drop, then you can take a chance and sign up for (free 1st month) http://www.dropguild.com - which is where all the expiring domains go that didn't get bid on at ClubDrop. I am the administrator at Dropguild.com and created the system for BR. I can tell you that some pretty good domains slip through and end up at Dropguild. Our bids start at $10, instead of $30 or $60.
