BrightPay.com long wanted to be like paypal.com and had more than 20,000 members and had over a million in transactions til they went bankrupt. Word is that some employees were gambling with brightpay money or playing counterstrike on the job. They dug their own grave because they registered brightpaysucks.com and gave it to the admin of paypalsucks.com to run.

The host that hosts brightpay.com has not gotten paid by brightpay so now they gave brightpay the boot and will now reformat the server getting rid of evidence. If you go to brightpay.com they are selling the domain. BUY THE DoMAIN GET A LAWSUIT :) Guy who purchases it will be screwed when legal authorities come ;p

We will let the JD's figure it out. But, I doubt the legal obligations travel from the old owners to the new owners.

However, the new owners will get a lot of headache emails and nasty letters. But, with it comes traffic.

Yep and the traffic may be worth the headaches. Kind of like Afternic.
