The more I look at domain sales, the more I think the sales method should depend on the buyer.
If the buyer is another investor, auction can work well. They understand bidding, timing, comps, and the risk of losing the name.
If the buyer is a business owner, the process is different. They may not care about the auction game. They just want to know the price and whether they can secure the domain today.
So maybe fixed price and auction are not competing models. They serve different buyers.
For your own domains, do you price more names as Buy Now now, or still prefer make offer / auction?
