Hi everyone. I am interested in a domain AnnacisIsland.com. I was contacted by a company regarding this domain asking if I was interested. I filled in the form and here is the email I got. It appears that the domain is pending delete.

We are selling the domain name annacisisland.com. Since you own annacisisland.info if you would also like the more desirable .com we are making it available. The cost is $99.97. That includes a year of registration and transfer of ownership to you. To purchase or to learn more go to:

http://www.dcinchq.com/checkout.php?domain=annacisisland.com

If you pass on this opportunity someone else could purchase this domain and it may not be available again.

For questions contact us or go to:

http://www.dcinchq.com/faq.html

If you are not interested there is no need to respond. We will not contact you again regarding this domain.

I don't make a habit of buying domains from companies that work on drops so I have no idea if this is legitimate. Any help would be appreciated.

If they are making it available, why have they allowed it to go to pending delete?

My experience of such emails is that they are sent to a lot of people and if someone responds positively the sender will either renew or catch it and then sell it to the interested party for a profit.

Yeah, seems to be associated with a Warren Davis who was banned from here.
