How would I buy a .us when i live in canada?
Is there an underground way?

the US registry regularly does checks and if they think you do not qualify to hold the domain they will demand proof from you. When you cannot provide the proof they will delete the domain. If you want to register .US domains it is better to play by the rules.

Well said! It's no different then us here in the US. I've found some decent .ca's over the years and just never bothered with them. They weren't worth opening any office across the border or taking any of those type of measures because they simply weren't high value, just names I would have liked to own.

I guess the question is how do i become a US citizen. :)
