I wanted to ask the members here if they thought buyingahome.com was worth anywhere close to the current 15k bid on ebay.

This domain shows big Overture numbers W/O the extension but no type-ins with.

I thinks it's a pretty nice name on it's own but I would not offer anywhere near what the bids are on ebay.

The seller has done a pretty good job a "hyping" the value by showing the
Overture results.

What do you guys think?

Howard, I think it's a reasonable price for the auction to END at.

But there still is 7 days left?

Who knows.

This name definitely gets typeins though, whether overture shows or not.

Overture is still just a tool, it's not cold hard fact (actual unpromoted traffic stats are :-))

$15k does seem high for eBay. Perhaps he had interested buyers already, so he listed it on eBay?

real estate/mortgage = big money, so i think the domains worth it - i can see all the tips and info on it already

this reminds me of the time a couple months ago that i failed to buy homeowners.com for 20k. i am an idiot.

Actually that ended at 40k. Good name but out of my price range..

No, I had a chance to buy it before the auction at 20k. But I hesitated, and so the seller decided to withdraw the offer.

something still appears to be a little fishy................

indeed, looks quite tricky

use wordtracker to get more accurate numbers - OVT is skewed way high.
