For what it's worth, I have had good luck with my Wild West Domains account. Since you're relatively new around here, I'm not sure how many domains you own. Given the structure of the WWD program, I felt like I was breaking even (after paying their $100 annual fee,) with about 200 domains in my account. Now I am pushing 500 names thanks to my 3-letter dot-us buying spree a few months ago. You might give them a try.

Once or twice I've paid for a registration, and someone else had snagged it minutes before me. They usually advised me of the registration failure within 15 minutes, and then issued a credit. You might give GoDaddy a try...

I must admit, seeing a domain name that I had registered earlier, posted here for sale by someone else, was a bit freaky...

i do use godaddy often i have about 300 domains now, i started using idotz simply because they offered at the time a way to use just the paypal account to register and i didnt have to use my credit card now i have about 120 with them and the balance with godaddy, yes i guess it was a bit freaky lord oh lord, like i said though they should have some way to lock those out from anyone even trying to register something thats already been taken, as soon as its done it should be locked out. i just got into this by accident and am learning, heck im a police chief in a small town in the south and this is very different for sure

1) ALL the names you listed * are still available for registration; iDotz appears to have screwed up big time.
I advise you to do a WHOIS for each name (somewhere other than iDotz) and you'll see for yourself!

2) *You listed TOE.org (with the letter 'o' in it), but I think you meant T0E.org (with the number ZERO in it)

OK, well, then please explain how it can be that any registrar I checked at, they (today) are still shown as being available for registration!?

Rob is correct. I didn't check all the domains, but the ones I did check showed the domains to still be available for registration. I would definitely find another registrar if you have these kinds of problems with the one you are using. I'd also suggest that you wait until the domain registration process is complete, and reflects you as the registrant before listing the domains for sale. It might prevent mistakes like you're faced with now, the possibility that someone else will go and register the domain you thought you had.
