I purchased the domain name Cairo2016.com earlier today after a UK betting website (who extensively research) compiled what were the first odds for the city to host the 2016 olympic games. Cairo (Egypt) is positioned the fourth favourite! At 10/1 (and they know what they're talking about), there's a reasonable chance that this domain name will be worth a FORTUNE if indeed the games are hosted in Cairo. Even if they're not, Cairo is in contention, so this domain name should generate traffic anyway during the build up to selection (just like paris2016.com, moscow2016.com, newyork2016.com etc). Of course, London was recently successful, and the official site is located at London2016.com.

I do not believe this to be a trademark infringement. The combination of numbers and city names is not copyright of anyone. Potential for masses of type in traffic - a real goldmine for the future.
