I wanted to see if there are a group of us in the Los Angeles area that might want to meet-up on a monthly basis? Grab some lunch, talk domains?

Let me know if you are interested!

..... Oh sh!t.. you don't say! so funny, you went to the Army/Navy Academy in Oceanside/Carlsbad.... "What a Geek" ...LOL

!!Just Joking!!

Actually one of the better schools of San Diego. Right on the beach which the chicks dig very much. I crushed on a girl way back when, that was going out with a army/navy guy that I could never get her to shake loose.

Im born and raised in Carlsbad, up on the hill over looking the "Crazy Burro Restaurant"

Reside in San Marcos now that I am all grown up. Cheers to a "Carlsbad Local"

Rich

yeah well i only went for my freshman year. Actually i was the cool kid that got away with a lot of shit cause i was the "trippy artist". The only cool part about it was that it was right on the water.

Not exactly in Cali, but I can get there pretty easily.

:)

I'm also in sunny San Diego.

Been here 15 months and while I don't miss snow and ice, there's something to be said about not having to worry that the entire county is burning.

I guess I'd rather catch a cold than catch on fire, but it is beautiful here.

:)

I'm over in Hillcrest

Wow, cool!... If you haven't gone yet you need to go to "Lips" its is a great place to eat and club at night with dinner show.

Hillcrest has a great night life

Ha! I just checked out their site. I hadn't heard of them before (I live a few blocks from the Hillcrest sign on 5th) but I'll have to see if I can convince some of my more adventurous friends to go. Looks like fun!

Yeah, Hillcrest has a lot going on at night, GREAT food all the time, it's walkable and it's safe. Without knowing anyone or anything in San Diego, I got lucky finding a place here. Now, I just need to work less and take advantage of my surroundings more.

I sense a New Year's resolution coming on...

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion!

It has been a few years since I have been to lips, great place though. It has rained only once so far this winter, I am sure you cant beat that. The women are plentiful in San Diego. Down town has the best night life of course. Just across the border in TJ there is a red light district with girls that look like Shakira for very little money, and a $10 hotel room.
