I have a #1 ranking on google.co.uk and a #2 ranking on google.com for the same key phrase.

Its confusing because you wrote:

for instance, if you have 20k searches for a term or phrase, doesn't mean that volume will apply to .me or a .co or .mobi or some other non .com

It implies that there's a link between extension and gkwt results and in my limited experience, I think there's not.

Really, I would never have put 2 and 2 together, i've been waiting all week to see your video. :lol: I wasn't confused after watching the video on domainsherpa.com, I was confused with one of the answers you gave. I had the decency not to mention that it was your post that was confusing, still you came out with a snide comment about rankings because I commented to jeroen about stats in his reply to me.

Thanks for your comments anyway, I learned a lot more than I had bargained for. Where I come from, it is trial and success your way to the top.... no room for errors...
