Can anyone sort TLD's in terms of commercial value?

Hi,
I am new to the forum. Can someone tell me which tld having higher resale value (to end user) after .com and .net In general, i am talking about 1 or 2 word meaningful domains. OR,

Could anyone list the tld's sorted by their resale value in descending order?

For example :
.com (Highest resale value)
.net (Lower compared to .com but higher than others)
.org (Lower compared to .net but higher than others)
.xyz
and so on....

Any help would be appreciated.

.com is definitely the king, I don't think anyone will argue that one. What happens next in terms of value is anyone's guess, mostly personal preference.

My personal preference is:
.org / .net - second
.info - third
.us - fourth
.biz / .name - fifth

Of course, being in the US I have very little (to no) interest in ccTLDs unless I have a development opportunity (mainly .de and .be). Your mileage will vary depending on where you are and where your clients are.

The rest depend on location and development needs & uses. For example, .de for Germans and .fm for something relating to music.

It is impossible to rate a domain's value based on it's extension really. For some (most) keywords, the .COM would be preferable over any other TLD's, while some keywords suits the .org extension.

But in general, based on average reseller values and my own personal opinions:

1. .COM
2. .NET
3. .ORG
4. .INFO
5. .BIZ

(ccTLD's like .US and .CO.UK not considered)
