Hi folks
i started selling few .info domains through Flippa, but at the end of sale, if i calculate ,
1) cost of purchasing
2) listing domain cost
3) selling success cost
4) Escrow/Paypal charges

5) selling price

it actually looks
Profilt = 5- (1+2+3+4)
=5-10
= -5
i just realized after my first sale ):

please advice best way to avoid charges to make money

thanks
Rajeesha

don't list on flippo, plain and simple

then you can eliminate #'s 2) and 3)

and have the buyer pay # 4) or split the fee's with you

now all you have is #5) - #1) = profit

or stay where you are and increase price of domains

imo....

Invest in better domains. Then you can increase the price tag, and the various selling costs will be lower in proportion.

when a service charges you on the "front and back end" you're being screwed.... regardless to if your name sells or not.

maybe it hurts less if you get a big sale

kinda like the gov-mint though,

they get a cut when you get paid and a cut when you spend it

Setting a higher selling price for any domain is a good starting point.

lol, business 101.

Maybe if you ask Flippa real nice, they'll let you sell there for free.

I wouldn't hold my breath though.

Not sure what kind of answers you were expecting here, but I think it has pretty much been covered... sell better domains, and for higher prices.

Or, work harder and find your own endusers. Flippa charges a lot to expose you to theirs.
