I ve been looking at www.phpprobid.com and it seems prety good. Its more of a bidding script but might be what you are looking for. (eBay style)

I am using 68classifieds on a new site of mine. It's not free but very flexible. You get the source code to make your own changes as well as support is (so far) very good.
