I just tried to register a name containing a swear word at GoDaddy. A page popped up stating "Profanity error." Is that right? You can no longer register "bad" words at GoDaddy? Wow! Maybe you never could... I don't own many naughty names but that blows me away.

WTF, why the heck would you not be able to?

Hmm...I just tried and it said a few were available.

What name did you try that gave you that error?

umm are you sure because i just tried and they asked me if i wanted to register the .org and .info with it too ? lol

WTF

You got it! Spell it out. I wish I would have saved the page but that is what it said, "Profanity error"

I just tried the same name again... said it was taken. But it did say Profanity error the first time.

WTF was really it? LOL I was just saying that instead of spelling it on the forum here. ;)

70% Of my names are "naughty" with about 50% of those held at godaddy, a few with f****ing and f*** in them and I have never had a problem registering them with any registrar so I cant explain the issue you had with godaddy, its rather strange!
