Looks like all decent .org names are going to pool or dotster. Surely snapnames should be able to get at least half of them. If they are not going to attempt to register .orgs with even the least bit of tenacity they should let us know. At least that way i can move my snaps off those names and do something useful with them.

How is Dotster getting them (anf for whom), as Namewinner does not attempt to register .orgs (unless they have just changedtheir policy).

Duke,

I know you posted the other day that they do not grap .org

But, I am sure they have seen the action going on at Pool and now want a part of it.

If they have the registry connection, the customer base, auction site, etc. It would be foolish not to ulitize it.

I hope they have decided to go after them. I had dozens in their list over the past few months that I had to manually reg (or lose) because they were not trying for them. Their rep in another forum came right out and said that they do not attempt to register ORGs bid on in NW because of the random drop times. Maybe since PIR put in the RGP and Pool is going after .ORGs they have changed their mind? Has anyone gotten even ONE .ORG with NW lately?

don't bother to add .ORG since PIR take over .ORG.

pool doesn't count. I don't have a credit card so i can't use them.

Also the name i have a snap on will be bid too high for me to compete. Have to enlist a "back door" dropcatcher

If Pool and Snapnames are both going after a particular .org, I think it is going to take a lot of skill and resources to beat them both :-(
