When people refer to the hockey team it's almost always with the plural. Using it for that purpose you could also run into TM problems.

Canuck is still a general term for a Canadian though.

It's useful if you're a hockey fan even without the 's', but the Canucks are TM'd so you don't want to dev it to make money off their trademark, just a fan site or non-monetized forum would be best.

Good news is, as mentioned above, all us Canadians are called, slang, Canucks, so it's versatile and would be attractive to anyone wanting a forum about us beer drinkin' hockey lovers.

Bad news again, is that Canuck, as a keyword, is still available with a lot of the hot secondary terms:
canuckHome.com
canuckZine.com
canuckPage.com
canuckTalk.com
canuckNet.com
canuckChat.com

etc etc are all available, so it's obviously not an in-demand term.

Good news again is that 'forum' is probably the best of these. To an interested buyer you'll probably get in the range of:
reseller = in the 50 - 100 range tops
end user = 100 - 300 if they really like it. Of course prices could go much higher if anyone thinks its perfect for their use, but I think these are accurate ballpark figs.
