Because the US has many enemies and its been going on in other countries. It is very easy to make a car bomb and fill it up with some sort of explosive or excellerant (sp?).

Add in the fact that most US citizens would either ignore a car like that or be ignorant enough to think "nah, it wouldn't happen here". Thank god for people like this street vendor.

This kind of activity has been going on for a long while in the UK and Northern Ireland and iits ugly head is being raised again unfortunately!

George Bush and Tony Blair dropped 200,000 boots into Iraq, and all on a pack of lies. The fact that they haven't committed suicide after tallying up the carnage that they have caused, would lead me to believe that the political class here in the West is checkered with true sociopaths. Obama is just as much of a twisted lying conman, and to prove it he'll have me paying a hefty part of my monthly salary to a private insurance corporation, despite being able to afford health insurance here in Europe as a US Ex-pat, and with crisp US dollars in hand [now I get to pay for health insurance twice]. As far as the US Federal government is concerned, I'm what they now call a "believer in anything".

Just know that no matter how much they lie, you still live in a better world, then the rest of the world that is controlled by freaks and oppressors. I tell you this from experience.
