One can make good money in domains without trying to hold trademarked domains over the holder's head demanding cash. Doing these types of things is what gives us in this business a bad reputation.

More people who register these types of domains should think about this fact.

I'm sure you considered this the "right" thing to do at the time. What you may not have considered, however, is that by simply deleting the registration, you basically made it harder for Porsche to acquire the domain -- now they have to chase down another domain prospector who is more adept at snapping domains than they were. Had you turned it over to them when they asked, while requesting a "holding fee" to cover your registration costs, this would have been more beneficial to both parties involved, and would be far from "dishonest". Asking for thousands of dollars (closer to the domains actual worth to Porsche) would be dishonest. Asking $100 to cover your investment costs, postage, handling, and risk management would have seemed perfectly reasonable -- especially considering the market value of the domain).

Just my $0.02.
