Carzilla.com sells on eBay for $1,787

I'm just curious what you all think. Seems a little high to me. Do you think someone overpaid for this domain? or is it a bargain?

I was thinking about that question the other day - "Do you think the cost of the domain is too much?" - after all - there is only 1 Carzilla, or whatever other name it is. Depends on how bad you want it.

As for overpriced, not really. anything wit hthe -zilla suffix is pretty brandable, and gives impressions of size and power. Mozilla's gain in market share has really helped the -zilla suffix for a start.

Alternatively, if it's simply for something like this Carzilla, then they really scored a bargain. It's their show's exact name, and they would have spent substnatially more than that on lawyers if they wanted to get it the hardway.
